Inbox Grinder
Privacy Policy
Inbox Grinder is designed as a private macOS email triage app. User data stays on the local machine. The public site is static and does not use analytics or third-party scripts.
Information we collect
Inbox Grinder does not collect telemetry. This website does not intentionally collect personal information, track visitors, or set analytics cookies. Standard web hosting logs may include technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp.
Local-only data
Inbox Grinder is being built around local-first email handling. User data stays on the user’s Mac. The app does not use cloud sync, does not create cloud backups, and is not designed to maintain a hosted mirror of a user’s inbox.
Security and storage
Data at rest is encrypted where appropriate. Secrets and account credentials are stored using macOS Keychain, and local app storage is encrypted where appropriate for the data being stored.
Because Inbox Grinder does not host email content or protected health information on an Inbox Grinder server, there is no server-side breach risk for PHI from Inbox Grinder infrastructure.
Authorization pages
Authorization landing pages may display values returned by a service, such as a state value or authorization code, in the browser. Those values are handled client-side on the static page and are not transmitted by this site to an Inbox Grinder server.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Inbox Grinder does not share user data with third parties. This static site does not share visitor data with advertising networks or analytics providers.
Deleting data
Since Inbox Grinder stores user data locally, deleting the app and its local data removes Inbox Grinder’s local copy of that data. This is how the right to be forgotten is handled for the app’s local storage model.
Changes
This policy may be updated as Inbox Grinder develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
